Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

RoomRush offers last-minute accommodation deals at discounted prices. Due to the time-sensitive nature of these deals, our cancellation and refund terms differ from standard booking platforms. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.

2. Cancellation by Guest

Some deals may have stricter cancellation terms (e.g., non-refundable). These will be clearly marked on the deal page before you book.

3. No-Shows

If you do not check in at the property without cancelling your booking in advance, no refund will be issued. The full booking amount will be charged.

4. Cancellation by Host or RoomRush

In rare cases, a booking may be cancelled by the property host or by RoomRush due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., property maintenance, overbooking, safety concerns). In such cases:

  • You will receive a full refund (100%) of the booking amount.
  • We will attempt to offer an alternative property of equal or higher value, subject to availability.
  • You will be notified via email and/or phone as soon as possible.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days from the date of cancellation.
  • Refunds are credited back to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, credit/debit card).
  • The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and may take an additional 3–5 business days.

6. How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel your booking:

  1. Email us at care@roomrush.in with your booking ID and reason for cancellation.
  2. Our team will confirm the cancellation and applicable refund within 24 hours.

7. Disputes

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied or you have a dispute regarding your booking, please contact us at care@roomrush.in. We will investigate and respond within 48 hours.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Bookings made before the update will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of booking.
